Pond Chat / Late season tadpoles?

I've recently noticed some frog tadpoles in my pond. No legs yet. I'm in zone 5. Seems late for this to be going on.
Have any of you seen anything like this?

Pond Chat / Pond is foaming

For some reason I'm getting foam forming beneath my waterfall. I've had that happen before for maybe one day after using algaefix, but I haven't used anything like that. It's been foaming for three or four days. Thoughts?

Overcast, rainy day and a night heron was checking out my pond at around 11:00 AM.
Put the net over the pond, should be safe now.

Pond Chat / Overwintering taro..........

Have any of you had any luck with putting the tubers into dormancy?
I don't have a greenhouse or bright window available, last year I was able to get 1 out of 4 taros through the winter.
I kept them in a bucket of pea gravel (occasionally watering them) in a heated garage without very much light.
Any tips on improving my odds?

Can all cannas be used as a marginal plant in a pond?
If so, how deep do they need to be planted?

Wakin, Shubunkins and Goldfish... / Blue comets?

10 or so years ago I purchased some goldfish (comets) that were sky blue on the back and sides and were light yellow (Almost white) on the head and fins.  I no longer have these fish and was looking for an on-line supplier for them.  Thanks.
