Lotus.....
Hardy Lily....
They don't seem to have a clue what they are selling.
Their growing reecommendations only apply if you have the correct plant.
This is why you should only buy from someone who "has a clue" as to what they are selling.

caveat emptor - Let the buyer beware.

Wow, what pics!  That must be some really strong rope!

That was my 1st thought as well. He looks to be at least a hundred pounds and probably more.

What a photo opportunity though.

That is a doc who is doing a good job of keeping patients happy during the tedium of waiting to be seen. I could see that as a holistic approach as well. If you are in good spirits and your mind is active then you will naturally feel better.

That software issue and their obtrusive ads and push philosophy is where they got the nickname AOHell.
Glad you are able to surf again.

The coolest part of those pix is the little pinkish colored flowers. They are actually just a weed that popped up like a dandelion but I really like their color and at least they are not prickly like many other weeds.

The purple flower is smaller than a dime. It is actually the bloom of an edible purple form of pepper somewhat like a jalapeno. I think it said it was from Brazil when I bought it last year.
Remember I am from Texas, we like our food to bite back somewhat.  :blowup:

I said she was for my wife. My wife had admired it a few times out at Nelson Watergardens and had commented about it. I was out there to get the liner and pump for the new pond so I went ahead and bought the lily for her. Unfortunately since I don't really buy many hardies, I didn't know anything about the lily. Once I got home and discovered thet it is yellow in the spring and then turns peach almost like the Colorado in warmer weather I was kind of kicking myself. Oh well, I will just be glad that my wife can enjoy the big blooms.

The caterpillar is one of several hundred. I keep debating on leaving them alone or doing something about them. They are making swiss cheese out of my bog garden behind the house. It is full of pickeral rush, assorted elephant ears, sagittarrius etc. They evidently are not very discriminating little munchers as they attack all different plants with the same appetite. I just wish I knew for sure if they became butterflies and if so what kind.
The dragonfly was one of the first I have seen to emerge from my pools this year. He was still drying his wings from emergence. He had trouble flying and that is how I spotted him coming from the pool.

It is all throughout the field behind the house. I can smell it coming down the road before I actually get home.

Ok now here are two that are more decorative than actual helpers...although they do still pollinate as they feed.

Thanks Sheila J and Ky Kim. I'm glad you enjoyed them.
Kay, It is Ostara. It is my 1st ever bloom from it as I got it late last fall. It is one of Craig's lilies. The 6th picture is also one of his, it is Tanglewood Blue.
I would not have been able to get them had I not found this board. I had been trying to get some of Craig's lilies for 3 years with no luck.
The great contacts I have made that allowed me get some lilies I have been looking hard for is why I try to post pix and be a somewhat productive member here if I can.
I want to say thanks to this board and it's great members.

Don't tell anyone....... {:-P;;
They are illegal here... {-)
I collected my 1st plant at a state park here where they cannot kill it. I figured I was doing my part to help them clear out the lakes there. {:-P;;
That one plant became a 5' swimming pool full each year.
