Beautiful!  Does it come with a ride on mower?  lol I think that would be one of the first things I'd buy!  First thing would be a row boat, so I could just float around that beautiful lake!

What is wrong with people!?  And what is wrong with the neighbors around this person?!  I'm afraid I would have "stole" that dog in the middle of the night, a long time ago.  No way I would have been able to watch what was happening to that dog!  I all ready "liberated" a dog from the back of this idiots truck...  I did tell him later that I took the dog, but he's to scared of my husband to come get him!  lol

Tonya - what I meant by "everything" is all lawsuits against the person who filed bankruptcy, all bill collection, and her eviction notice to you.  Everything is on "hold" until the bankruptcy court decides what will be done.  From what I understand ( hubby is busy, can't ask him right now... so it's just me talking) pretty much the person who filed can't do anything - buy, sell nothing. Without the courts approval.
The quote "equity does not protect a person who sits on their rights" basically means, in your situation, that just because she owns the property, and wanted to make changes to the original agreement, but didn't get off her butt to do it, doesn't take away your rights.  You followed the agreement, she fiddle-farted around, didn't make the changes she wanted.  That's her loss.
Honestly, I think it would be better if she has filed... then you'll be dealing with the bankruptcy court and not her.
If you can get legal aid help, or like Sunbeam said, the young lawyer assoc. thru the bar - do it!  If you can't your first step will be to go to the court house and find out if she indeed has filed.  If she has you can get the forms from the court clerk to file as a claimant against her.
I'm also pretty sure that bankruptcy court is Federal, but will follow State law...
(Disclaimer!  I am not the attorney in this family!  But that's what hubby said to tell you...)

I asked my husbands opinion (he's a lawyer).  His first response is the same as "S"s - find a lawyer.  Also just because the contract isn't signed doesn't mean it's not valid - something about accepting the money from you and the fact that "equity does not protect a person who sits on their rights".
Also, if the woman really has filed bankruptcy you are a claimant.  If she's filed bankruptcy then "everything" stops - including your eviction.

Hey!  It looks great!  When we had crown molding done awhile back I remember the guy telling me you had to cut it at a 30* angle, not a 45.  Our molding was in 2 peices, so that might me why... so go look it up before you take my advice and mess it up!
Did you get the light at home depot?  That's the style I want to use in my kitchen... How long is it?

Sigh... yes to not parking under a coconut tree.  Somebody moved my little car  out of the driveway, on to the lawn "for just a minute".  I now have a really good size dent in the top of the right fender from a coconut falling on it.

Hi LeeAnne - If he's looking to fly his horse over the only option is Pacific Air Lift  http://pacificairlift.com/
Cost is about $4000 But first he has to get the horse to LA .  Trailering to LA isn't included in the $4K PAL usually recommends Hubbart trailers.  Tell him he needs to call and talk to Andy.  Andy knows everything, can arrange anything.  They fly here once a month, only on Wednesdays, the Wednesday closes to the 15th of the month. They usually don't fly in December, but I remember them making 2 flights in January one year.
He can also ship his horse via boat.  It's a 5 day trip... I've seen a couple of horses in really bad shape after they come off the boat.  I personally wouldn't ship via boat - no food or water for 5 days, horses are in a shipping box, they can't walk around, lay down, etc.  Pacific Airlift requires that your horse have shipping insurance.  I was talking to my insurance agent (for my daughters horse) and she did mention that her company won't give insurance if you're shipping via boat.  That tells me there's to many claims.
Tell him to email me is he needs info from this end (where to board horse, who to trailer from the plane, etc)
tryan4@hawaii.rr.com
Tell him the boarding rates around here are pretty reasonable- around $400 per month.  He's not going to find pasture boarding. Finding a good farrier is a problem tho... my boarders acually fly a guy in from California every 5 weeks - costs them $250 per horse!  We have a couple of good vets, but no surgery yet.

It wasn't so much to humidity that you'd feel - it was the mildew and mold on the close walls that were the problem.  I think a ceiling fan might just help alot.  When do you get started on the remodel?  I can't wait to see pictures!

Finnally!  Guess the courts have to go slow, make sure they make the right (hopefully!) desition.  In this case the courts got it right!
Aren't the father and mother still together?  Let's hope they don't "go forth and multiply" anymore!
