I've never been able to grow jade plants or even keep them alive.  Seems I either water them too much or too little or they just die cuz they don't like me!

p. mollissima is a paler pink but has those same short (almost non-existant) filaments and the elongated fruit so that makes sense. 

It's a gorgeous color whatever it came from . . . .

Since I have so few lily blooms, I look at them closely when I do get them.  I had noticed some of what you mentioned on lily blooms here . . . the open nectar cup full and empty and the closed stamen.  It's very nice to actually have an explanation as to what's going on . . .

Bart, try the meds . . . even if they don't work, the doctors simply will not listen to you unless you try them.  Not that they will necessarily listen after, but they definitely won't listen before!

I feel your frustration with the doctors not listening to you . . . been there and done that and didn't like it one little bit.

Lovely little lily . . . DD#1 is already planning next year's pondlet and I think that would be a wonderful addition.  Next year, we're going to get a nice ceramic tub so she'll have room for two small lilies.

I think my confederate rose is a bit more double than that, but similar.  I would love to have a cutting of yours and would be happy to root a cutting of mine for trade.  I'd also love it if you could root a cutting of that red passion flower since I killed my plant.  I think that's one that roots easily in a glass of water . . . most of the little ones like that do . . . .
