I haven't had much luck with the Angels Trumpets here. I have been looking for these since the look much the same except with more intense coloration. I too am curious. Have you gotten any seed from the little spiky looking pods?

Tootsie - Did it move out or did it make its way south for the winter? If it stayed and is in a warm area where it feels safe you have a great opportunity for photos.

Well I just thought I would chime in on how much work it is to color your hair, style it, cut it, curl it etc.etc.
As you can see in the pic I spend hours each day in front of a mirror to get my hair just "So". You know. LOL

Craig - You got your first egg so you obviously have the adults. Do you raise as pets or are you looking at it as a commercial venture down the line? Either way, congrats on your first offspring. Just curious. How long does it take to hatch?

Karen J - are the bacon & sausage orders by the pound? LOL  ;D

If only the top of the pads looked like the bottom. Notice how intense the maroon color is underneath. The flower is even interesting before it opens. It is highly spotted almost like the Star of Siam on the sepals.

I bought this last Saturday. It is highly Viviparous. I am already groing out a pad with Sean's patented light growing system.( Well I'm glad he didn't patent it so we don't all have to pay royalties LOL).

Here is a pic that I took from a dinner cruise while in Oahu.  Sigh...I wish I was back there again.

MikeW... If you have XP... Right click on your desktop... Properties... Desktop... Look at the file that is highlighted. That is what you have on your desktop. Click Browse to find where it is located on your drive. Then you can just upload it in a reply. Just remember to try and keep it under 200Kb for those on a dial up connection.

In response to your comment about Trops not putting up multiple blooms. I have a few varieties that will have up to 5 blooms at a time. They are Tina, Innocense, Woods Blue Goddess, Colorata and Dauben. Jack woods usually has at least 2 up at a time and Director Moore often times has 3 or more. You obviously have a lot of varieties. If you don't have these you might give them a try.  O0

I'd love to be able to play in the snow but I am glad that I don't have to deal with that too often. Mother Nature just messing with our plans for beautiful lilies.

I've been looking at the Japanese Maples for several years. I finally broke down and got a small one. Hopefully mine will someday resemble the great specimen you presented. We don't get really cold here so I had to get one that stays Maroon year round. They don't seem to change colors here as well as I have seen in other areas.

I've also been looking at them... and I still haven't even bought the high def TV yet...LOL. What camera model did you get? Did you get a great deal or did you finally just said I can't wait any longer. Cool video The birds seemed like they were almost in high speed. They must not like being on the cold ground too much.

It is a fantastic specimen. It was one of three varieties I bought my dad for father's day this year. In addition to the beauty it is highly fragrant as Mikey says. I got a good deal on them in the spring from Dutch Gardens...

Very nice.  O0
Does it stay true in color over the course of days? It almost looks like some of the color changers in the hardy side of things.
Do you know the parentage on it? Either way it needs a name. What does the leaf pattern look like? Its hard to tell in that pic.

Very good story. I had looked at the pix on your site and have to admit I was quite envious of your pond. Glad Kit recognized your pix as well.

I have family and friends who are huge ebay shoppers. I don't think I have gotten but a handful of things that I could not readily find elsewhere. I looked at ebay as a possible selling point for some of my excess waterlilies a couple of years ago. I realized that the cost of doing business with them coupled with the cost of shipping would make the prices too high in my own opinion. I wanted to be able to be lower than anyone who had a full retail presence on the web. I know ebay would have given me greater exposure but the few family members who also sell on ebay felt the same about a price structure they would have to live with as you have just described. I haven't sold a ton of plants but I figure whatever I sell helps me pay for the next lily on my own personal wants list. Since I have had a website presence on the web for almost 5 years I am also high on the google search list so I knew that would send potential customers my way. I've actually sold almost as many photos as I have plants over the last few years.

Well...Roadrunner was down in Houston for 4 days. The inability to do anything online forced me to spend time updating my site a bit. I have uploaded 10 pages of pics in a flash format. The last few pages are what I uploaded in this thread. If you have a few moments and would like to see some of the pix, go to the following link...
http://timgodsgraphics.homestead.com/2006GalleryMain.html

If you do go check them out please let me know here what you think. All question or criticisms appreciated.
