Wakin, Shubunkins and Goldfish... / comets

we bought half dozen comets at two different times last summer . later had some babies . lost some fish last fall and a couple over winter , had a parasite problem late in year .  in any case had 16 fish earlier this year currently have seven as we've been feeding our ''pet'' [ his words not mine] blue heron . in addition to these seven we have 4 new babies . my question is will we end up with weird fish . i'm concerned with ''inbreeding'' ,that is, mother and father being to closely related . don't know if this is a concern in fishies or just animals higher up the food chain. thanks..........peace

maam ,with all due respect the picture looks like it was from a room in 1890's or earlier . we are dealing with an 'upscale' decorator at the present time and she was here this week with textiles i felt were from the same era and ask my opinion so i told her ''they are horrid'' . ''beauty is in the eye of the beholder'' as we both know but if i were looking for a wallpaper 'person' or a decorator i would look elsewhere after seeing your opening picture . yes , it's short sighted of me but [another cliche ,sorry] ''you only get one chance to make a first impression'' . i mean this to be helpful and not upsetting ,hope you view it that way . lastly , remember that i am a nobody and am not often listened to [especially at home] but i'm sometimes correct . ..good luck and peace to you ......ps. do you ever work in ohio .

my son was kind enough to put these pix in for me . the duck pix are all taken through sun room window glass . second duck pix ,with little one standing alone on one leg , cracks me up . it looks like it is performing for its siblings and i can hear it calling '' hey guys look at me'' . . . .peace .........ps. notice the frog by the pink lily

another mallard hen showed up with nine [i think , as those rascals are really little and really fast] little bitty ducklings . i hope she stays out of the middle of big pond as i've seen bass take ducklings when they are out there . . .peace

we've had a female mallard and her TWELVE babies ,actually they are about 85% of adult size , in the yard for a couple days . it is really incredible to watch them move about because it's like watching a herd of ducks as they stay quite close together . took some pix but was inside and shooting through the window screen ,which i'd forgotten about . i'll see if i get a better picture today .......peace.......ps ...we also have about a dozen carp, from about two feet to about thirty inches in size , waiting in the water for the mulberries to drop from the tree into the pond at which time they go nose to nose to see who gets the berry .
