Lee I had the same thing happen as you did. I would use a can of Alpo to make gravy for the dogs dry food. I have 9 dogs, everybody would get a little "gravy". I have 6 Chihuahuas, 1 Rotten-weiler, 1 Ucky dog, and then there's Bruno. All of them quit eating, except for their dinner, and not eating that well - none of them were interested in breakfast. So I switched food, started using Pedigree, with a can of Alpo in there when the feed store was out of Pedigree. Funny that I've had a very sick Rotten-weiler for about a month now... You'd think tho if it was the food the little dogs would be sick first... We've wormed the Rottie twice, thinking she got hooks from the feral cats, nope. Had fecal tests done, no worms. Vet thought maybe Giardia, even tho stool sample didn't show anything. Five days of medication, 2 days later she is feeling better, but still very watery stools. Think it's time for some blood work. Rottie is getting up there in age, she's 8-1/2 now. I've checked the websites and Pedigree hasn't been recalled - yet. I went to the feed store the other day to get more wet food, and ALL of the cans have been taken off of the shelves! Not a single can left. Think I'm going to go back to making my own chicken "gruel" for the dogs.
