Kat my pond gets around 6-7 hours of full sunlight. I was worried this year cause the temperatures were cool but now they are sooo hot.. sometimes you gotta be careful what you wish for.... my lilies are doing well but i'm suffering

The Mayla that I bought from Shanna finally bloomed and it was SOOO worth the wait!
pond is still under construction! i got all these rocks from my neighbor! LOL well most of them
planning to add more plants and rocks
here is the rhonda kay i got from Kat. hopefully the other waterlilies will bloom. the other lilies in the picture that are blooming are texas dawn and a purple lily that I bought off ebay. the texas dawn looks 10 times better in person.

Wow that is REALLY REALLY rude. If I had neighbors like that I would definitely tell them off.... It's okay to be nice but DON'T LET PEOPLE WALK ALL OVER YOU. they will do it again and again and finally it'll be way too hard for you to tell them off in the end. I learned in real estate in California, when someone is allowed to go into your land for a couple of years, they will legally have the right to your land so beware. If I'm wrong someone correct me!

My mom said she saw a lotus plant for over 150 at the store. I guess it's cause it's grown and potted. BUT 150? I also went to armstrong gardens and saw their lilies for 40 dollars. :'(

Texas Water Lilies - I bought plants from this site twice and I've never had a problem with them. The first time I bought plants they sent me nice sized lilies and all of them ended up blooming that season except maybe the red flare. This season I bought lotuses and they gave me an extra tuber. I was really excited about that!
Utopia Aquatic - This season I bought 2 water lilies from Lorenzo and I was REALLY happy with them. The foxfire was a blooming size!

I would have been okay if they told me they damaged my lotus and didn't try to hide it. they are almost done painting and it would be a bigger hassle to get someone new to do it. I just told them to be more careful and so did my family. It just sucks cause my nephew's birthday was coming up and I had so many lotus buds getting ready to open up and I wanted everyone to see it. :'( oh well. thanks everyone

(Update) So my first bloom came out today and something horrible happened. My house is being painted and the painters somehow damaged 2 of the buds on my lotus and they tried to hide it by ripping one of the buds out. the bud that is the farthest to the right is gone... and i looked deeper and it was ripped and the one in the middle is broken!! i'm sooo MAD 
they even have the nerves to ask me for bottled water!! Why can't they even bring their own water? This is what happens when you are nice to people. they run all over you!
