I dug out a bucket full of elodea and hornwort last week, and as soon as I finished taking these pictures threw out a pile of azolla!

Saw Tragically Hip 2 weekends ago on Prince Edward Island. Bunch of other bands played to, Billy (no)Talent was one of them.

Give me the good old concerts like Skynerd, Frampton, Foreigner...hell, even Pat Benatar! LOL @O@

That is Spearwort. It looks like a big overgrown buttercup. Mine has about 5 flowers on it now, and my pickerel weed is about to bloom as well! woop!  ;D

Wild roses. This is about 6 feet tall. Looks nice when fully bloomed (this is about half bloomed), but they dont last too long.


I think these are geraniums. Maybe someone could educate me? LOL


and FINALLY, I hired this little guy to keep an eye on things when I'm away!

Bunch 'o' stuff. Pickerel weed busy steam rolling an iris and varigated grass. Will have to do something about that eventually.


dwarf hyacinth has already beed divided once.


A couple of buds on different lilies! Woot!!! First ones EVER!

verigated water celery is one of the few things I have not doing so great...

camelion plant seems to be doing well...

Mike, those are Dahlias. When I got them home the wife asked me what they were and I said I didn't know, but they are pretty so I got them! LOL.....I'm horrible with names, but know what I like when I see it! ;)  The Columbine is shot now too. That pic was a week ago, and she didn't age well!

hahaha...funny you should mention a nice big pond there as I was just telling the DW the other day that if we removed a couple of trees along the side it would be the PERFECT spot for a big pond!!! hahaha

The bleeding hearts grow like crazy here. Actually need to get rid of some by next year because one in particular is trying to take over a garden. I forsee doing some major pruning.  :o
