And you didn't even have to try I was driving along a country road and saw a huge pine tree, nothing special until I discovered what looked like pumpkins growing all along the sides of it! No kidding, I pulled into the driveway and sure enough someone had a hidden garden including pumpkins growing right up this huge green pine tree! I have found pumpkins growing along the fence in a rather "weedy" back garden, and when the frost hit and killed the weeds, WHA LA, nice size pumpkins growing in the cyclone fence. Guess some of the seeds may have been in the compost I used

I ordered quite a few heirloom toms from Seed Savers, but my Father got very sick this summer so I did not have much time to get them re-planted I hope to get an early start next summer tho! One summer I grew the heirloom moon and stars watermelon, they were so pretty, I just hated to cut them up! I did hear of someone using the sweet cherry (heirloom) toms on kabobs, UMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Hi Bob,
Nice to hear you have returned....with your tubers, LOL I joined a short time ago, then because of the "hacker" I re-joined! Can you explain just how you over winter your tropicals? I have read of putting them in a bucket of water in the basement? Will you be posting pics of your beauties?I over wintered a lotus tuber that I grew from seed last year, pulled it out of the pond in the spring, AND THEN BROKE THE POINTS, while planting it

Hi All,
Guess I am new here again? I had trouble getting in the site the other day, kept on comming back as "SITE CAN'T BE FOUND".....then today I tried several times logging in and says: not a know user?? So I re-registered!! Good thing no one else had my name, LOL Anyone else have a hard time signing in? Or maybe they still can't get in??
