I'm not sure he'll ever use his licence... just that he has it if he wants to!  His mother and father were both attorneys, and I think he did all of this more for them then for his self.  
But, who knows?  Maybe he'll take on a couple of cases, make the "big bucks" and pay off all his student loans!

Interesting article.  I thought herons were endangered, and on the "no kill" list, whatever the list is called, can't remember right now... Then I read this in the article:

The birds gained further protection in 1918, when the Migratory Bird Treaty Act allowed states to set seasons and enforce limits on hunting. Since then, herons have gradually returned to their previous numbers and are not endangered

So, what does that mean?  There are certain months that heron can be hunted?

I am positive that your Dad is well aware of your sisters attitude.  I'm sure they've been idiots for years.  But, you may only have a short time left with your Dad - don't let your sisters keep you away! 
Please talk to Steve.  And if you don't want to have your sister charged, at the very least take pictures of your injuries!  If you do decide to contest the will, or just to try to make your Mom see the truth, you'll have some "evidence" of your sister's unstability.

So, Karen, when does your plane come in?  I'll pick you up from the airport!  I could use some help here right now... daughter's horse has been sick for a couple of days, vet can't figure out what's wrong.  Big show today and tomorrow (lunch time I get a break).  Thank goodness it's the last show of the year, except for the junior show in Oct.  And you can cook!  So I won't have to ask the age old question, every night - "what should I make for dinner?"

Hey Bart - I always want to have 2 muckers on the ranch!  You're no. 1, Karen can be no. 2!  You have to shovel the sh*t cuz you need to get over your phobia of horses!  It's therapeutic!

Bart, I know what I do is of no importance since I don't have the over wintering problem either, but all of my lilies are started in 5" squat pots.

Ah, Bank of America...  Did I ever tell you that hubby and I sued BofA, a credit union and all 3 credit reporting agencies?  And we won!  Didn't win the "big bucks", just reimbursed.  But still they forced us to sue!  Same problem as Blind'too.  Ours happened when Bof A bought out the company that had our mortgage.  Seven years of fighting with them...  They even sent 4 lawyers from California and other parts to us here in Hawaii, to take our depositions.  They settled (for what we were asking for in the first place!) after the first day of depos.

I had a doctor tell me years ago to soak all fresh fruits and vegetables in a clorox solution - 1 tablespoon to 1 gallon of water - then rinse.  I've been doing that for years.  Don't have any idea if it really does anything, or if I'm going to die from the clorox, but I still do it.
