I still have lots to do, but with the weather as hot as it is now, going to have to wait. Weeds are getting out of hand too, but about all I can make myself do for now, is go out later in the day and water.

Thanks Kathy and Tweety, they started out kind of slow, but once it got hot (and I mean hot) they seemed to have taken off. Have a bud on two of the three so far, excited myself!
Tweety, that white one is an octagon tub out of a mobile home!

Glad to hear you and your wife are safe Scott! Glad to hear you didn't have too much damage either.
We were traveling on our way home from Sauk Rapids, MN from seeing my daughters when all this was going on.
We were on interstate 57 outside of St. Louis and we had to get off interstate and find hotel, couldn't even see to drive. We stopped in town of Marion, IL, close to I24 and Kentucky border. Not long after checked into hotel and got something to eat, tornado sirens started going off (on and off for 2 hours), I was scared too death. Thankfully all was ok.
We saw lots of flooding along the way from IL, KY, and TN.
There was a lot of damage in Florence where we live, but luckily, all was ok at our house after being gone for 9 days!
Was a lot of devistation around, I hope the weather gets better. I feel for the people that lost their homes, businesses, etc.

Ahh, he's so cute and so big! Congrats! Wouldn't know what to do with a baby that big, my girls were both 5.6 and 5.6 1/2.

I planted them outside in their new home awhile back. They are all growing, except for one bleeding heart, it's leaves turned yellow, but I spyed new small green sprouts today! It may take them all a while to fill in, but will look great once they do.

Yeah, when you see things like that, always better to buy too many than not have enough! They were a cool find, maybe you will get lucky and they will have some more! They would be cool for small cactus also!
I always buy things I see dirt cheap on clearance, you never know when you might need it! LOL!

I checked my Dollar Tree today (everything's a dollar or under), but no luck, guess your 99 cent store is something else. Sure wish I could find some.
I think they are all referring to a Trickle Tower. I built one once using a regular strawberry pot (don't have it any more).

Those are so cool, what a great idea! Where did you get them? I've never seen any like that before.
Actually, when I was in Lowes today getting tons of dirt for an above ground garden (I will be going back tomorrow for another truck load) I was trying to find a strawberry planter, they only had one, it was rather small and they wanted 22.00 for. Too much!
