Hey Everyone!

I just got my first lotus bud. This is my first year growing lotus. I grew them indoors and transplanted them outside and Mrs. Perry D Slocum died and all I have left are Perry's Giant Sunburst. I thought the leaves of the plant would have to go up first before I get any buds. What a surprise!!!







Here is the unknown purple water lily that I have. It's doing pretty well

Yes it's soooo painful to lift up the pots. LOL. Thanks for the advice everyone. But really I wanted to ask if they would change colors and join together and form new lilies or stay the same.
