Do you have a preformed waterfall? I am having trouble building a water flow that doesn't come in contact with the rocks behind it (when the water falls over the edge). And good website on a how-to?

So JW can I get some pictures close up of your waterfall? Or do you have anything very similar that you can post/link too.

BTW I'm in Spokane, WA so if you happen to get bored and want to build a waterfall just drop by anytime. ;)

Aquatic and Terrestrial Plant Exchange / Wanted: Plant for my aquarium
« on: September 24, 2009, 08:37:55 PM »
Hi everybody,

I am looking for a plant(s) that can go into my aquarium. Its only 30 gallons but I have 2 gold fish and a pleco. The 2 goldfish completely ate my plant that was in there. Not sure what its called but its like a pine needle tree and it produces oxygen. It looked very nice before it got destroyed.  {nono}

So please post/pm what you have. I would also like the name or picture of it so I know what I am getting. Java moss looks very nice on pictures... I may be interested in that.

Please keep the price to a minimum. College is expensive!! ::)

Sorry for the late reply. But, yes I am looking for pictures. More pictures that are a close up of where the water comes out. I have rocks that are basalt I believe. So no I cant really use river rock here. The color is dark gray in all shapes, forms, and sizes. Some are rusted, an orange color that is kind of ugly.

Yes it is OK to call me RED. Thanks for the kind welcome to the forum.

I will look into the other threads to see if I can find what your are talking about.

Thanks again!

PS: I think the size of your waterfall is exactly what I need. Also what pump are you using and where can I get one?

Pond Construction & Filtration / Help constructing a small pond

Hello everybody,

I am having trouble constructing a pond. Its located in front of the house and receives a little sun. The size is approx. 3ft by 3ft (circle shape) Right next to it are bricks that rise up about 10 inches. This is where the water fall is supposed to go. I need some ideas on how to make it look. Pictures help a lot!.

Picture:

Green= plants
Blue= pond area
Gray= bricks
