« on: May 06, 2012, 09:52:30 PM »
I been scare to add fertilizer on my pond. Is it necesary? my water lilies havent bloom, the pads look ok but Im not sure if I should use fertilizer. Will that mess with  the pond balance? Will that create more algae?

Thanks! Those were from last year and believe me they dont last! In my area I dont see no ponds like that :( so I dont have that kind of luck of getting them for free. As I say they are kind of $$ . I will buy some and put them on a water container and see what happen. But I still hope someone in here will share.

« on: April 23, 2012, 07:35:03 PM »
ok I will need some advise from you all! I dont want to use any chemicals but I want to avoid green water.  So this is my question, why my Hyacinth dont multiply as everyone say? Is anyone whilling to share I pay the shipping! I'm whilling to try anything to keep them alive.  I'm adding a picture of my pond (last year), and it is in FULL sun. ideas please.  In here in NC they are kind of $ they sell them $4-$7 a piece and they are not that big  so it can get expensive
Gracias

Anyone have any idea or any suggestions about mosquito fish? I have never seen them or heard about them until I was checking craiglist the other night and someone is selling them.  will they get alone with the koi and goldies? are they big enough to survive on a pond?
