Pond Chat / Re: Pond is leaking water

Thank you for the advise. We have a very basic setup, no pipes and the waterfall is connected directly to a hose from the pump so it looks like the leak has to be in the liner as there is no water leaking from that hose to the waterfall. My concern with the kind of temporary holding tanks is raccoon and cats in the neighborhood would have easy access to the fish, so the pond would have to be drained and repaired and filled in one day.

Help! We went out to find a quarter of the water missing out of our pond! We have never had this issue before in the 11 years we have had our pond which was there when we moved into our home. We don't even know where to start. What do we do with the fish so we can drain the pond and figure out where the leak is? We have two 16" to 18" Koi and about 12+ goldfish of different sizes from about 8" down. :-\
