Thanks for the reply. Your property is awesome !!  When looking up Jersey Giant I came upon Black Langshans and that is what our "Big Ben" must be . He has feathery feet with red/pink soles .

Okay, I did a search and found no relevant topics.  I have a jelly-like agae on 2 of my smaller ponds. Greenish brown in color, it is hard to scoop out. I tried skimming , the toilet brush trick and bare hand removal, all to no avail. Any help out there?

30 Years ago, when I moved into this house, we were zone 5. Ah, now I am zone 6b. I had heard that this was the case. Well, more plants to choose from!
