Anyone want to trade Daylilies?
« on: August 14, 2009, 11:28:36 AM »
I don't have very many yet to trade but I have a couple. These are at least three fans potted up in gallon pots, not freshly dug. They have bloomed so I know they are truly named. They aren't fancy but they are good bloomers.

Siloam Merle Kent, lavender with purple eye, miniature growing, small flowers

haven't uploaded picture yet

Pandora's Box, cream/white with purple eye, miniature growing, small flowers

I'm not looking for anything red or orange, thanks

I have ID'ed the El Desparado and I can afford to send you a couple fans.
It's not the clump I thought so I can't send much. But I would love to trade
daylilies with you. I am partial to anything purple or yellow, or white so I'll leave the decision up to you
You can get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right

I'll upload the picture of Siloam Merle Kent and you can choose which one you'd like. El Desperado is still on my list. I've read nothing but good about it. A two fan division is just fine.

I bought the two I have extra on eBay last fall and the sellers sent multi fans so I potted them up individually into gallons. I waited for them to bloom to make sure they were truly named and then planted one of each into the garden and have kept the extras for trades after giving some to a local friend.

We had a hot spell and Siloam Merle Kent looks like crap, I don't want to send her. I do have Pandora's Box in good shape still. If you would like her Freddie, I'd be happy to have one or two fans of El Desperado.

We've been remodeling our house, really fixing leaky roof, rotten siding etc. and there has been major construction mess and much decision making and I've let gardening kinda go by the wayside except for watering.

2010 update: So Sorry, remodeling became a nightmare and I haven't been back to the forum in months.
I apologize for not getting back to you.

I will have some extra daylilies but not sure yet which ones. I potted up divisions but DH moved some of the pots and now they are mixed up.
