question on hottub pump

i have an old calspa that i am not taking as i move, and i am wondering if i can pull the pump from it and somehow utilize it in future ponds... anyone ever done this or know how to go about using it

Michelle, I don't think that the pool and spa pumps are energy efficient. It may cost you more per month to run than a pond pump.
