Well Jerry, today I AM melting!  It's been hot here all week, around 40°C (104°F) and the humidity is close to 80%     I'm off to the beach this evening for a week, I think I have it arranged for water top offs and food for the fishies.  I'm taking all the fur balls with me.   I'll be floating in the Caribbean instead of my own sweat.   

Sounds like you like Texas, was it warm up there too?

I wish I could go with ya to the beach....I am melting...I even got in the freezer next to the popsicles and they melt too.....

It was warm but not as warm as it will be in summer.  Light humidity.  All easy to take at that stage.  I found we drank a lot more water there, so we must have been losing a lot.  Carlos must think I am nuts.  We had a beer with a fish lunch and it was the best beer I ever had!
Just Bud Light on tap. It sure hit the spot!  I am no expert, of course. I rarely drink the stuff.

What??? No Lone Star beer??      It is funny how much better beer tastes when the weather is hot and the beer is frosty cold? 

It is cooler over here on the Caribe coast, as long as you are on the water with a breeze.  I'm not complaining though, I love the heat but it does go better with a shady hammock, a cold beer and an ocean breeze

Jonna, just not enough time.  It was a plan, just never happened.  As I said elsewhere a week visit is really 4 days, 2 there and back and 1 or 2 going from town to town.
Savanna's BBQ was fine, but never got to try one of the "famous" ones. :'(

When are we all going to go somewhere in the US and reunite...mayeb in texas since all flights go to texas...it will be awesome if we do something like it...

Yeah, I'm about an hour and a half from Houston, straight across the Gulf.   I haven't been in the US for 2.5 years, I suppose I will go up there one of these days but I'm more likely to head for Calif.
