I've been to Kew gardens. The Brits are lovely nuts. They have this long lane bordered by trees. Each tree has a brass tag showing the latin name, the common name, who planted the tree, and when, and where it was collected.
Libraries may have been created by the Irish, but librarians are all Brits.
In one of the hothouses, they have the last specimen of a rare cycad that was collected in Africa in 1845!!!
I wouldn't re-pot that plant for all the tea in China.
I love the teenie waterlily, and am not surprised that they have it at Kew Gardens.
Didn't Craig send some of his moptop hybrids over there?
