The seller sent me the wrong key fob for my Prius. I wrote him. Got this back!

I returned the item and asked for the appropriate one. I don't have a good feeing about this one.
36.00 plus 12.00 frt
HERE IS his response.

It sounds to me like he's saying he sent that man your FOB and you his and you two should work it out. That's not cool.

I returned it. He sent a 2009 not a 2008 which is what I asked for.
It was E Bay. My experience there has not been good at all.

FOB = free on board. Means you paid for the postage.
I would guess whomever wrote this letter did not speak English as a first language.

Yes, It doesn't sound good Jerry. Did you pay for it through paypal? You can prob do something there about it if you did.

Yes, what Ky Kim said. I've not used Ebay, but I have used Paypay and they have gotten me results--just like I wanted. They will make the guy accountable or get your money back.

Right it is FOB a keyless remote (sorry savannah)

I did pay through Pay Pal. I will give the guy a week to respond.

yeah it sounds like he got you two mixed up and ment to send that email to the other guy, explaining that he sent HIS fob to you, which is why he posted his address. just let him know that your the one that already sent the fob back

Good news, he did send! It looks right, now to program it or have The Agency do it $95.00 the on line instructions look easy. Worth a try!
A whole series of opening doors and inserting fob. Worst case? I pay the $95.00
It takes a few minutes so 95.00 is a lot!

The bank asked for 100.00 to replace the safety deposit box key. Just a thin key too.

I told them "Sure, and close my accounts!"

Guess what? the acquiesced LOL!

Jerry, the charge at the bank wasn't for the key as much as it was to slap you for losing both keys, for having to have a maintenance person come out and drill the lock out of the box and replace the lock that was ruined by drilling. Next time you notice one key is missing. Go to the bank and tell them and they'll move you to a new box.

Banks don't need to be slapping anybody with anything--ESPECIALLY more ridiculous charges for services they should provide because we have money and valuables in there. They should however go back to the way it was when they paid a decent interest rate and give me a reason to be glad I'm doing business there.

I wear shorts a lot, and a few cheapo pairs have very shallow pockets. Some bargain huh?
I threw them all away!
My bank sends me material saying I am a VIP. So when I asked for something and reminded them I was special according to their mailings, the Manager seemed offended and said, "we treat all depositors equal here!"

We had to go back out to the car dealer because they only gave us one FOB. I had read it online, and watched the guy do it. Its something about having the key in, then moving it to position 4, 8 times with in 10 seconds I believe. Robbie said it took they guy less than a minute.

I would definately try it yourself, and if that don't work google it and see if there are more directions for you.

This car we just bought has every feature you can think of. I can roll all 4 windows and open the sunroof from my remote. I can take the key and put it in my lock and turn it backwards towards the truck and it will closed all windows...

. I just keep finding more and more things on it. Its been sorta fun.

I did download the instructions. I will try. One guy said if you don't get it in 10 trys it will be rendered useless, By 5 i'd go to the dealer.
