These blooms were glowing yesterday. I also added a few other blooms of other lotuses because they are also beautiful in all stages of bloom.

Beautiful Frank as usual. I wish I could have a lotus but I just don't have a spot where it would get enough sun. My lot is real long but narrow so the house shades the back yard in the afternoon and the front in the morning.

Beautiful.

I can't raise them either.  Mine has survived thru 2 winters, but it will put up about 4 or 5 floating leaves and a couple of small aerial ones and then it goes dormant.  It has 4 leaves now.  I did add some iron granuales this year and it does look better.  I think our humidity is usually too low.  Mine is in a huge pot and setting down inside one of the lily tanks,  It seems to do better there.

Frank,

Very pretty lotus indeed!

I just noticed a bud on one of mine yesterday while working in the yard loading our POD.  How long does it take the bud to bloom?  I'm hoping to see it open, before I have to try to transport to our new home upstate?

Thanks,

Tonya
