Um, I'm not Joyce but I agree with Vickie. It is nice you work so hard on your plants and take pride in them.

Yup, it's good you have learned this. When my boys were mid teens, they at times bemoaned the fact that the kid across the street bragged about his car to my boys. They told me and I said that they had a lot more to be proud of because their cars were their's because they had earned every penny for it + every ounce of gas and all the insurance had been purchased with their money. The boy across the street hadn't worked a minute to earn his car. It was handed to him on a platter. And you know what he didn't appreciate it.

I'm not saying we shouldn't ever have parents help us with stuff because mine certainly have helped me over the years. But the difference is that this kid bragged about his car and technically it wasn't his to brag about.

Your ponds looking really nice.  I put osmocote or something like it that is time release pellets in the pot and mix it up with the soil for land plants.  I follow the directions on the label as far as how much to use based on size of container and if plant is inside or outside.
My next female cat will be called "Whata Lily"!

Howell, if you threw your pennywort away, you just made another mistake. If you still had roots, you still had pennywort. Sounds like what you don't have is patience. {nono}
Happy ponding,

I did throw it away but away to my other tanks and waiting for it to recover, just did not put it back in the pond because I am not so sure it will make it with my Lois swimming around.
