Can anyone tell me the story behind Leopardess i.e why it is so special or the topic of controversy? It was the topic of some posts in the past but I do not know what the issue was...

I believe it was one of the first tropicals with mottled pads...so it was a big deal. I ordered one that was drop shipped from FAN maybe 7 years ago that was not the original. There are so many modern hybrids that offer much more than Leopardess.
