Did you resize your photo?  I usually resize to 800x600 px.

The maximum size you can post on this forum is 700 x 700 pixels, anything larger than 700 pixels in either dimension will be automatically sized down to 700 px. If you are resizing to post on this forum, larger photo's may end up looking slightly distorted.

Cheers,
Sean

Your pond is a natural.  The telling would be the two ducks are so comfortable in it O0 Driving down our road this evening, I saw two tame ducks just strolling up and down our neighbors property :)

Very nice looking pond Tammie.

I was going to get 2 ducks also but the seller said that they will destroy all the garden plants and also the fish. Do you have such problems? Yes the duck seems freighten from the fish, funny:))

Thanks for the larger pic.  When the photo was small, I thought that brown thing near the center was a laborador retreiver swimming in the pond!

julles- lol
I think it has grass on it now.

It is not a natural pond and we don't seem to have a choice that the ducks are there. We lost about 20 smaller fish a couple weeks ago. Not sure what happened. All the good looking fish are still there. I bought some new baby Koi. The ducks seemsed to hang around longer than usual this year. They do seem quite happy in our pond. There are LOTS of lilies so I am not worried about them. This was taken early spring. I will get some more pics soon. Would like to do some pond cleaning first. Like that grass in the pic. Not much there.
It is about 3000 gallons. Part by the house is underground and the part where the ducks are is above ground. We used limestones to build the pond. One waterfall in the center area. Then that little bubbler out there. We did this for extra airation and IF a pump took a dump again we wouldn't lose any fish. This happened once and luckily we were off that day and it was HOT out. I think we only lost a couple fish. So from now on TWO pumps. I don't think they have broken since. 24/7/360 for 8 years. Some little giants. 3500 and a 2000 gph.
I want frogs but no shallow end for them  :'(
