Watched Eclipse a Few Days Ago
« on: July 09, 2010, 04:39:55 AM »
Just watched Eclipse. There's a lot more making out in there. Yuck. Lol. The tent scene wasn't as good as I thought it would be, but it was still good. Still wish Bella would choose Jacob. In the books Jacob can be a real jerk but in the movies it's Edward that's a jerk.  Now just have to wait for Breaking Dawn to see what happens!

Hi ram.  I took my niece and nephews to the sneak peek premiere here locally.  My niece, a nephew and I had read all the books too.
I was glad they handled the 'making out' part tastefully.  I think S Meyer did a good job of it in the books too.  It will be interesting to see how they handle it in the next 2 films.  I have seen some things in the media about parents/adults being concerned about the increasing level of steaminess between the characters.  That seems unfair.  The 3 young people in the book are growing up and dealing with more adult personal situations.  Just like any other high school seniors.
Enjoy your summer and hang on until November!

We are not movie people and I was totally lost thinking you were talking about an elipse of the sun and moon. LOL.

Lol sorry Esther, should have cleared that up in the topic. I will be a Freshmen this year. I can understand why the media and some parents are concerned, but as you said it is a part of growing up. I think the next movie will be awesome. When you are a Senior, you are getting ready to go have a life of your own. It's just a typical life of a teenager becoming and adult (besides the vampires and werewolfs and the things they can and can't do).

Oh, cool. I think my cousin and I are going to go see that in 3D when it comes out. I need to read the last Harry Potter again before I go see it though.
