Guess what I found today.
« on: July 31, 2010, 07:12:47 PM »
I'm not sure which one it is yet but it was a pretty surprise. Makes a change to the yellows and whites. I just caught a glimpse of pink under the lily pads. This is not one of TMike's babies.

Happy ponding,

If you think that your question is dumb, imagine how totally stupid you will look if you don't ask it.

"A nice alternative to the other colors"

That's an interesting statement.  I tend to keep colors in my yard to greens, and then only purple or yellow flowers.  But I keep being tempted by other colors of lilies, and even have vips of others growing.  But I'm not sure I want them in my pond.  Then again, I ask myself, why NOT have a variety of colors??

How about you others?

love it!

Julles, I have mostly purples in my front yard, but my back yard is a smorgasborg and my lilies are every color.  I just wish they would all bloom instead of just one at a time.  I love wildflowers and all their colors, which I guess is why I have lots of different colors.
