Bear Attack in Churchill, Manitoba, Canada.

   

These are pictures of an actual polar bear attack.
The pictures were taken while people watched and

could do nothing to stop the attack! Reports from the local newspaper say that the victim will make a full recovery.

Awww, so cute Jerry.

Churchill is my dream vacation, along with cruising the Panama Canal.  We go to Canada in the summers.  A few years back we were in Winnipeg and I decided sometime we would head north to Churchill.............till I looked at a map.

The black bear that 'roamed' into our back yard last month was not so cute.  Well, maybe at first.  He/she ripped down all of our bird feeders.  Never even looked at the pond.  Whew!
We've been here in a forested area for 30+ years and this was a first.  I was just a little more than freaked out.
Walk slowly backwards and wave your hands over your head
Yea, right!  If I were outside I would've running like a maniac.
Haven't seen him since AND that is good thing.

That is so cute, Jerry. I found out a few weeks ago that we have a honey bear around here. Can't wait to see it.
