Air pump question

I have a Pond Master air pump and it seems not to be putting out that much air anymore.  We changed all the air stones.  The closes place to purchase some parts is a two hour drive.  My question is if it is difficult to service it ourselves?  Any advice before we order some parts?

I have a pond master air pump and it has a very easily accessible incoming air filter pad that you should check. It could possibly be semi clogged enough to reduce the air output.

also may need a new diaphram kit put in--they are easy to replace and you can order them on line--the cheapest place I found was www.pondliner.com.....However my new one that was still under warrenty did that--I cleaned the filter and changed the diaphrams and it still didn't put out enough air--So I had to return it for a new one....
