When I saw the photo I assumed it was a natural pond because I could see all the trees in the reflection.  What a mess you would have with all those leaves in a filtered pond.  The water actually looks pretty clear.  Nice looking fish.  Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful setting for your colorful Koi!  I like that your pond is natural.

naaa  not a lake lol   i actually measured it the other day  and its 54' by 50' deepest part emm well i dont know i stopped walking in it after it was near my neck,   only the strong survive in that pond.. i have lost more then 400 dollars in fish so far :( from dive bombing birds, herons, and probly the 5 reg turtles ( and a  few snappers ) and 1 12'long bass...  i got 5 total right now in the 55g tank in the house along with 2 big ass goldfish.. i got pics of them... im hoping they get big enough over the winter in the house so i can put em in there around summer time.   the white one is around 16to 17" now  . like i said before i got him( my first koi) when he was about 4 to 5 " long (20 months ago)  he never went in the house tank , nothing  i just threw him in there to see what would happen along with 150 goldfish  ... well  he is still alive and 1 goldfish is lol  the goldfish is only like 8" long now ... im just curious to see what will live over the winter..  right now i know i got emmmm  6 to 7 koi in the pond... 4 are over 10"  and the others are catching up quick....   i been noticing that the big white one stopped growing as fast and the others are catching upto his size... hmm   i guess after a certain length they grow slower?.....      yeah i just type all in one paragraph sorry lol   shit it looks like a hot mess now that i look at it
