My turtles don't eat?

They are friendly than ever and come to me, but ignore the food.  very unusual!  No idea why?

I don't know why yours aren't eating yet.  Mine are climbing over each other now to beg for food!

When it gets really hot, mine cut down on food.

Also, I find that when they are fat and well fed, they have less interest in "ordinary"
 food.  They can go a long time on no food at all, or on way less than you think they need.

They are probably not hungry, and are bored with pellets.  I bet that if you offered a nice juicy feeder goldfish from PetSmart, they would snatch it up.

I know that people feed them goldfish, but I just couldn't do it.  I couldn't feed a living animal to another animal.   :'(

Funny. I had a friend years ago, she got in my car and proclaimed, " eeeeuuuwww  Sheepskin!  You sit on them?"  For once I thought on my feet and pointed to her shoes and said "Cownide, euwwww, you walk on them?"
