Last time to post from here until Wednesday.

My wife and I are heading out tomorrow morning at 9:00am. We are heading up to Alabama to visit with my family and spend Christmas with them. They live twenty miles east of Birmingham. We will be coming home Wednesday.

The good news is, I will be able to post while I'm up there thanks to my wife getting me a wireless card for the old ThinkPad that she gave me. We will be staying with my sister and her husband and she has wifi. @O@

Well, we're back home now. We had a good Christmas despite the rain and cold. We had a problem with the car this morning, a pin-hole in the heater hose. My dad had a talk to his mechanic and we were able to run it down there and get it fixed good enough to get us home. My dad paid for the work. My dad slipped me $120.00 to help out on the trip. My wife didn't know it until we stopped at Cracker Barrel in Tifton, GA.

It felt good to go home for the holidays but it feels better to be back in Florida.

Yes Kay, they are. I guess me being the only one that he doesn't really have to help out month after month made me earn that little gift. If it wasn't for my dad, I wouldn't have the construction knowledge that I have today. Especially plumbing.
