We have an orchestra of toads pretty much every night from dusk to dawn and then ended up with what looked like thousands of tadpoles....
Well, they're crawling!
P.S. 4.5 tons of flag and chop stone is being delivered tomorrow as well as a yard of gravel for the bog. Oh, and I took Thursday and Friday OFF!

Aren't those little guys just adorable? (Your guys as well as the toadies!!) I think baby toads are awesome...I stop the mower for them and move them out of the way!

I bet your boys are enjoying the new pond! I love those little toads. There are some years that our ground is alive with hundreds of them...............then they all disappear.

Same here too Karen, wonder where they go? I have a really BIG toad that stays around the front porch area in the flowers and then every evening she is sitting on the step making her way to...somewhere. My theory is she's heading towards the pond since hubby put a solar light there and it attracts bugs for her dinner. That way she doesn't have to work so hard. I saw her in the pond the other day sitting on pond weed...hopefully laying eggs!
