MY first bloom!

  My first bloom happened 2 weeks ago in May Gray.  It stayed open until June Gloom.  I'm guessing this is my white hardy that was my very first lily I bought at HD many many years ago (yes, I do not kill all my lilies  ).  While fertilizing my lilies, finally, last weekend I saw many new flower buds making their way to the surface.  I'm jazzed about that!

I'm jealous of everyone's first multiple blooms, so bear with me while I show-off my one and only "first bloom of the year!"

I've been getting singles for years as I've done the bonsai thing in a small space. Looking forward to getting a bloom or maybe two up at a time in the new lake.

  I always only get single blooms too. Exception is UV that I got this year.

  It is in the tiniest pot yet it put up multiple blooms at a time, which is different.  I had it in a larger pot, but it kept floating out  Finally put it in this teeny weeny container and up closer to the surface so the leaves did not float the pot  Its doing good so I think I'll leave it there for a while.

 Looks like summer is coming to your neck of the woods.

Thank you fellow Ponders for your kind words for the only flower in the pond for a while!    As soon as we get some nice mild sunny days it's back to gloom and cold (not complaining too hard here).

LuAnn, this will be as close as I will get to having a lotus

  That's encouraging for my one lily that is sprouting new babies.
