I got sweaty walking in that gift shop via your photos--good thing I wasn't there in person.   :o  It looks like they have something from every part of the globe.  What great pics, thanks so much for sharing them.

We went in the summer of 2004 and received a quick tour from Rich. I bought Andre Leu there!

Thanks for the great photos!

Yes Rich has done a nice job.  The Nelson's in Houston were an inspiration to him, but he also has some very unique hybrids.  But when I last visited him a few years back he had given up his hybridization since he had too much on his plate with his aquatic gardens and I can't remember the public garden in Nawlin's he also maintains.  Maybe Sean remembers if he catches this thread.

Rich has worked with the Botanical Gardens in City Park to display lilies there. There are also lilies in a pond in front of the New Orleans Museum of Art . NOMA is a small museum well worth the time to see when every one comes to NO.

Thanks for sharing your pictures. I met Rich Sacher once when he was here for a waterlily symposium, same time I met Sean for the first time. He was very nice :).
