Wonderlite grow light?

Has anyone tried a Wonderlite instead of HID lights for overwintering tropicals? I've been doing OK with shop lights in a warm room, but the cheap shop lights keep dying on me. For almost the same price, I could try a Wonderlite and maybe get a bloom or two in the winter?

I do have one on some potted hibiscus over the winter to supplement my HID light and they same to like it. It puts off a lot of heat, which the lilies should like.
