Pumps
« on: August 14, 2011, 11:02:31 AM »
Anyone know about how to get the info from a statuary pump as to it's GPH and head. I have several small pumps and all that is on the labels is 120 Va 60 Hz .15 A ETC. From now on when I buy a pump, I'm gonna paint the GPH on the label with a paint pen or attach a label to the cord. Anybody else have problems with this? I have 7 pumps in the cupboards and just ordered another one. Three of them are too big and the rest are too small.

I know what you mean.  I pulled a pump this week and the label has faded so much I haven't a clue how big it is or what the wattage is.

I put 4 pumps in the kitchen sink, filled it with 3-4" of water and plugged them all in. LOL. They all seemed to be bubbling about the same height. BOOOOO!!!
