Tropicals all tucked in for the winter

Last week we got the last of the tropicals into the sunroom for the winter, just in time since we got our first light dusting of snow yesterday. It gets more crowded in there every year. I have two tubs set up to far with a second light and there's still room for a couple more tubs when needed. The plants seem happy to far. I hang the orchids over the edge of the tubs for a while to recover from a summer of neglect. They seem to  really enjoy the light and humidity and will hopefully start blooming again.
Soon it will be time to start the Victorias again. I didn't grow any last winter and hope they will do well for me again this year. I will only be trying Cruziana this time. Last year they refused to sprout for me so I have put them outside under the sundeck to cool off. Hopefully that will prompt them to sprout.

the room is long and narrow with large windows and sliding glass doors to let in lots of natural light. This is a shot of one end of the room where the tubs are placed.

Nice greenhouse    You've made a very comfy spot for plants and yourself.

Looks like a lot of work but I'm sure the plants love it for the winter.

Looks great!  Sure invisous of yall having greenhouses and sun rooms!  I have a huge screened porch that I have often considered "glassing" in and making a greenhouse out of it but the heating cost would probably kill me worse than not growing tropicals
