Hey Y'all What's for Supper?
« on: January 17, 2007, 01:05:45 PM »
Here's what's at our house tonight....... A great bit Pot Roast. We FINALLY have winter here. I like to make things that bake in the oven when it's so cold. It helps to heat the house besides making it smell so good, and it helps give the furnace a rest.

So what's at your house good tonight!!!

Love the photo.  I fight with my wife all the time because she won't use more carrots.  She cuts them too small to.  Yours are just right!   Yeah onions too. O0

steak and potatoes, nothing exciting.

I use whole baby carrots in my pot roast. We both love them. That is too many onions for me though....they don't agree with me. DH would be thrilled to get that many onions, he feels deprived by my acid reflux.

I'd love to have a recipe for chicken pot pie!

Thanks everybody!!!

Jerry I usually have small carrots, but I was too lazy to cut them. They're baby carrots just cut in half. I liked it better that way. And you can never have too many onions.  O0

Teresa I'm not much of a cook, but to be in warmer weather, I can pretend I am.  lol

DH has already given up on having a real meal for supper. We have been tiling the bathroom all day and I couldn't get up the gumption. Maybe tomorrow night I'll find the kitchen and remember how to turn on the stove.

The girls ended up having bacon and eggs cuz there wasn't much else in the kitchen to cook.  They didn't complain tho - they love bacon.  (That meant that Casey got bacon grease on her food too, so there were no complaints from the lower level either!)
