Took my Civil Service test today!

And flew through it with flying colors.  There were four of us taking the typing test part, and after we were done she said Kimberly.  I said yes, she said I'm sorry but you didn't meet the requirements.  :'( Then I looked at the paper, it wasn't mine, wrong  Kimberly....  :-)~ he he, (feel bad for the other one) I got the top speed out of us all.  O0 @O@ O0  I was all worried for nothing.

Then we took 3 other test, and those were easy too.  Now, I just have to wait for my email for an interview.

Good luck Kim, sounds very promising! 11 years ago my wife applied for a job in records at our local Palm Springs, PD. That opened a door for her to move into the dispatch center, last month she just got promoted to dispatch supervisor. So you never know what doors will open for you! I hope you get the job!!

Greg, thanks for the encouragement. 

I keep trying to tell them at the Bingo Hall, that I may be leaving and least on Fridays.  Going to hang on to my Saturdays for a while.  They just don't want to seem to believe me, I've been with them for 9 years.  Maybe when I say, you need to replace me, I won't be here next Friday or the Friday after that, they will believe me.

They think I'm going to work my day job and come straight in there when I get off, till 3 or so in the morning they're nuts.  I have a family that needs me too.
