My bog pond
« on: June 13, 2012, 04:17:18 PM »
I call this a bog pond, but it might be more appropriately called a marginal pond,  {:-P;;  since most of the plants in it are actually marginals. It is really starting to fill out and looking healthy for the summer.   @O@

I like the backdrop of the dark taro...if they look this good now you will really have a jungle on your hands!  Very nice.

Frank, I love the black magic elephant ears.  I bet they will give you plenty of huge leaves this summer.

tweetybaby, These look a lot like Black Magic but they are a variety called Black Beauty. I am not sure if they get as big as Black Magic. I will find out.

I could be mistaken, but I think that 'Black Beauty' is a runner. It will quickly get out of control.
