hi, i have some yellow flag iris that kind of seeded around my pond. the plants are still small enough to get out...can the roots of the iris damage my pond liner if i leave them? probably better to have them in pots?  so dry here (minn) had to add gallons and gallons of water to the pond today. have string algae but the fish are happy.  happy ponding, andi

If it was me I'd pull the babies out.  They can be a lot of hard work to remove once they really root themselves in & get big.  We went thru the drought last year & I feel for you.
