Now that we all know my mild Shubunkins have become BIG koi, they are wreaking havoc with my plants.
Ok I can live with that and plant more wisely. I use heavy stones in container bottoms, but to no avail. These guy are strong!
Idea: a manufacturer ought to create a pot that is wide on the bottom and tapers to the top. It would be more stable I'd think.
I once belonged to the Ventura County Koi Club. Many magnificent ponds. But plants were rare!
Are there plants that Koi just do not like?
Still limited on what I can do, but ready to get in the pond again! It is now six weeks into my recovery.

Will my Koi 's growth be limited somewhat because of the pond's size? ( 4000 gals.). Oh! Do they taste good?
