Still snowing here, this morning I had to go out and dig out the area where the bubbler is, noticed that the snow had actually sunk down into the water. I had to dig quite a ways back to find a clear open water way to the small fountain pump. I think the warm weather at the beginning of the week may have made this area less icy maybe soft enough that it could not hold all the snow. Hoping that the other end of the pond where the fish normally hang out has some good water depth, the thought of losing fish is not thrilling to me. Did put the shovel handle down in the snow and hit ice (with a good 18" of snow on top) so I'm a bit more hopeful.
