retaining rings

old news to most of you, but maybe it will be useful to a few.  I have water hyacinth for shade and will soon put penny wort in the pond. It  seems to double it's size every few days. More shade!  My string algea has pretty much cleared up. A combination of shade and Sodium Percarbonate (thanks Lynda)
Kat , Gary and NM ponder you stuff is doing well and will go in the pond shortly.

I'll have to look into the sodium percarbonate.  Looking forward to pics of the plants once they are in your big pond.  Made the mistake of getting pennywort in the grass/next to my pond & it took 3 years of roundup to kill it.

There is never enough room for all of the water lilies that I want ;-)

When I had Pennywort my lilies thrived. I think it was because there was so many plants that the turtles had plenty to choose from.  My hope is that there will be plenty to go around.

Any members in Idaho?  I will be there soon.
