I realize they may never win a show, but what about those very low price Koi in chain pet shops? For Black Friday, I bought several babies for 2.00 each. They look nice, swimming around and have a nice attitude. I have them in a tank and away from my other koi that are spending the winter inside the house.
Will colors remain?
Will they live long?
Will they grow nice and big?
Could there be a hidden treasure in the lot- maybe a show quality fish?
Will they ever mate?
