Thanks for the welcome
« on: March 22, 2007, 08:27:16 AM »
Thanks for the info and the welcome. I will be staying here and I did see people from the other website on this one. I have been a huge fan of Cliff and Joann for several years and get so excited when they post pictures. I had a 3,000 gallon pond with a stream and huge waterfall----- :( unfortunately sold the house and couldn't get the pond to fit in a box  :(. I am planning on building another this year, (NO PLANS OF SELLING THIS HOUSE) just dreading the work of digging..LOL

Yes, I am dreading the digging, but as you say...whoopie a second chance. I do I have things I want to change and different plants I want. It really is exciting. I do have one question...In my other pond I planted 2 lilies, I dug holes as I was digging the pond, then placed the liner in the bottom, planted the lilies and covered them with kitty litter. I never did take them up or do anything except trim off the dead pads and flowers. I noticed before I moved out that they had really branched out. I thought they were suppose to stay put in the holes, that didn't happen. Is there some way to add lilies to the new pond and still be manageable? I am really wanting to plant things that stay somewhat contained. I would hate the thought of not having lilies.
