he is my favorite too.  his name is blake.  he won't win, but surely will be in the top four or so.  the indian guy with beautiful hair won't get voted off thursday even though he should.  it is a shame that people vote for other reasons than singing talent.

I didn't think the boys did very well last night, even the guy with the 'fro.  Better luck next time to them.  I agree that the girls seem better this time around.

I don't think Bones was on last night, I hope not at least!!  I checked but didn't see it on.  I did watch House after AI though, I love House, too.
I couldn't find Bones either???? I'm gonna have to find out if she chainged nights?

Kerry Underwood sure looked good. and she has gone so far since winning in 05! Sanjia had better go nest week unless he can preform a mirical? And I think Haley for the girls.

I hated to see Sabrina go.

My picks:

Number one:  Melinda Doolittle

Number 2: Lakisha Jones

Number 3: Jordin Sparks

Please note:  All Female, All Minority ethnicity.

These are my picks based on TALENT!

My big complaint with AI is allowing multiple votes per phone #, which allows slanting of votes.  In my opinion the people that vote for reasons other than TALENT should be discouraged to vote at all, perhaps with a 50 cents per vote charge.  Obvious slanted votes in the past: Barrino, Studdard, Hicks; and in season 6, Malakar. Come on!  It's a TALENT CONTEST, not an ethnic or beauty contest! (If looks were the deciding factor, Scarnato would win hands down, too bad she can't sing!!!)

I have to agree with that one John. 1 vote per phone. I  think every girl 14 and under now will vote Sinjia 10 times each.Boy did he shock the pants off me. But the little girl was so cute. I agree with your winning list too.

melinda is great and should be in the top three.  laskeisha is good too, but sounds too old in her choice of songs and they all sound the same.  i want jordan to win.  she blew my socks off the last two times she was on.  but alas, it is not a singing competition, it is a popularity contest.  who ever has the most votes, not who sings consistantly the best.  i wish it were a contest decided by the judges only, but then know one would tune in cause they could not participate.
too bad.

Have you guys ever heard of shock jock Howard Stern?  My crazy dh loves him and listens to him every day on the radio.  Howard Stern has millions of listeners, and has been pushing for voters across the country to vote for the worst singers on American Idol this season.  And don't worry, my dh isn't voting.   :D

http://www.buddytv.com/articles/american-idol/howard-stern-wants-sanjaya-to-5148.aspx

Now it turns out radio shock jock Howard Stern has been encouraging all of his Sirius satellite radio listeners on The Howard Stern show to vote for the worst contenders in this season's American Idol, with Sanjaya Malakar first on the list. The self-proclaimed "King of All Media" Stern says Sanjaya is his "favorite contestant," and would like it if he won, precisely because Sanjaya is annoying and has no ability to sing.
