November 30, 2012 we added a new Chat service called CometChat as the server upgrade made our old chat console obsolete.
If you do not see the CometChat bar at the bottom of the screen, you may need to upgrade your browser.
See photo below with guide of each icon. If the chat bar has been closed you will see the chat icon in the bottom right corner of your screen

You can use this to both Text Chat and Audio/Video Chat with other members. Create and password protect your own rooms or use the American Ponders Chat. Additional games have also been added for your convenience, both single user and Two player games. Additional features include a Whiteboard, ability to send files remotely to other members and Hand-write messages. You can translate the site to any other language and announcements will be displayed. There is a scroll to top icon and you can shate the American Ponders experience with friends on other sites like Facebook, Twitter, Google 1 and more... We hope you will enjoy these improvements.
